Day 31 - If Someone Told You That You Had to Collect All Sorts of Magical Artifacts and Fight off the Forces of Darkness in Order to Restore Balance to the World, What Would You Do?
(Not in order)
Tbh, the world would’be been screwed and there would’ve been many years of darkness covering the Earth.
• I’m hoping the person can wait until I’m a lot older to fight for evil because I know now is not the right time, even if school’s out.
• I would be worried how to keep up my job/stay in school
• I’d feel honored and a little embarrassed, because it would take a lot of searching to find that one person and for me to turn that honor down is crushing
• I’d also be hoping it’s not some kinda of stupid trick
• I would be confused because I’d be like, “Why was I picked? I’m way too young?”.
• I’d get mad because I’d realize I wouldn’t exactly know how to defend myself, how to look for such magical artifacts and such. Plus, I know for a fact my parents would not approve of me going from country to country by myself, let alone fighting the supernatural. my mom is really strict on magic and witches
• I’d get scared all the time because the worst could happen to me while doing anything or being anywhere, like the bathroom.
• I’d be famous for all the wrong reasons
• I wouldn’t know who to turn to.
• I would do a lot of mythological research instead of doing actual schoolwork, which would piss my parents off.
• Losing sleep over trying to keep the world in balance xp I’m not sure how Jackie does it
• In my current situation, I would be forced to say no because there would be many obstacles in my way.
- Basically, I'd be the worst defender of all time.
Poll Link: An old JCA AU fanfic
Around this time last year, I did a creative writing class and did this assignment where I had to make up a short story about a conflict getting resolved in the end. So I made one about a modern-day alternate universe of the Demon Sorcerer family (who are all humans) celebrating Chinese New Years together and having some kind of family dinner type argument. I changed the demon's names into similar sounding names just in case using characters from a show wasn't allowed. I forgot about the story until now when I was looking through old computer files and came across it. I think originally, I wanted to post it on Fanfiction.net, but I lost interest midway for some reason I don't remember. So I came here to get you guys' opinions on whether this is something you'd be into reading. I'll also make a poll on here and on FFN. #jackiechanadventures
Happy Holidays everyone!
I think we can all say that this year has been especially hard on all of us, especially because of COVID and how much it's changed our lives from then on. Amidst all of the craziness and negativity, I just wanted to wish you all to have a good time and to have a happy holidays!
GUYS
GUYS Today is the Jackie Chan Adventures 20th anniversary! It's been 20 years since JCA debuted on KidsWB and made its mark all the way to today! Someone on Twitter made these really cool videos to celebrate and I wanted to share them on here: https://twitter.com/ChanExpressions/status/1303739947153682432 https://twitter.com/ChanExpressions/status/1303687100651286528 I know we're just a small bunch, but I say us JCA fans get together and do something to celebrate, like do a group art picture or something
Semester End
Finally my semester's over! Man, do I hate all those stupid online classes, thought it would never fuckin' end. Now I can truly be lazy with no regrets.
This semester had me much more focused on my work since I was dealing with harder and tougher classes, that's why I've been MIA for the past 5 months. Now that everything's over and done, I can post some stuff that's been laying around that I never got a chance to post at the time.
In the meantime, I hope everyone's okay amidst all the COVID-19 and quarantine calamity! Stay home, keep with your hygiene, stay safe! hopefully 2020 won't kill us bc atp what won't
