The Dark Hand | Jackie vs. Enforcers, then TohruShadowkhan vs. JackieJade, Uncle - The fact that Jackie thought it was okay to follow the Enforcers in their cars by climbing on roofs had gotten me interested. Then when he fell onto their car, I shrieked and thought Jackie was going to get run over. The electric swords made everything scary when the Enforcers pulled it out. The playground scene was epic. Then when Tohru kidnapped Uncle and demanded a ransom, my stomach dropped because Tohru was big and Uncle had seemed like an elder who didn’t really know what was going on. It dropped even further when the Shadowkhan showed up. I could’ve sworn someone was going to be seriously injured or be dead. Even today, I get the shivers as I watch those ninjas chase after Jackie.

The Masks Of The Shadowkhan | TarakudoEnforcersHak Foo vsChan ClanCaptain Black, then TarakudoMasked ChowShadowkhan vs. Chan Clanthen Masked Chow vs. Jackie - The fact that it was almost impossible to touch Tarakudo was hard enough for the Chan Clan. Captain Black was even knocked out first which made me sad, Jackie almost went splat, Tohru was scared etc. Later, when Chow got that mask, those Shadowkhan went after Jackie like they did in the first episode. The way that came at the heroes would make me feel kinda claustrophobic though. And the one-on-one Chow vs. Jackie was epic. To be honest, I think this is what Chow wanted to do to Jackie the whole time because the way he handled the fight was funny.

Black And White And Chi All Over | Ice Crew, Drago vs. Chan Clan, then Ice CrewMoon-Powered Drago vs. Earth-Powered JackieRest Of Chan Clan - I never expected to see the Ice Crew again, so seeing the Ice Crew made me worried. Like, if you see a filler villain again then what’s going to happen in the episode is going to go horribly wrong, and I was right. Just seeing them fighting and using their dragon powers in the flower shop made me jittery. When Drago possessed the Moon power, I felt even more jittery. But once Jackie got Earth, I had to give that guy some applause because of the way he had handled the Earth power. I did feel bad for Jade because it was her birthday though Earth vs. Gravity was an interesting fight, but if Uncle hadn’t come in just in time, I would’ve figured Drago would win just because. As for Jade, she has a lot of guts to fight dragon henchmen.

Day Of The Dragon | Shendu vs. JackieJade - Just seeing Shendu come out of his statue form creeped me out. Jackie is pretty brave for throwing a broken, electrical wire on the demon. It was also scary how near the end of the episode, Jade said,” All of Asia is counting on you.” That’s a lot of pressure right there, and you could tell Jade wanted Shendu to do down. She almost cried hearing how her parents could get hurt.

The Powers That Be Part I + II | 1st Part - Ice Crew vs. Drago | 2nd PartFull Chi-Powered DragoIce vs. Section 13Jackie, then Full Chi-Powered DragoChi-Powered Ice Crew vs. J-TeamEnforcers?Hak FooCaptain BlackT-Troop vsShendu - STORYTIME - Now, I had skipped the episode Weight And See because I had read the summary and it had sounded rather boring to me. When I read episode 12′s summary, I got instantly excited, where Uncle, Jackie and Captain Black were kidnapped made me really pumped/excited. So I thought, Eh, just skip episode 10. I couldn’t possibly miss anything, right? Wrong. During The Powers That Be Part I, I was so confused as to why Drago hadn’t even used his fire powers. That wasn’t like him at all, I thought. I was in shock when the Ice Crew betrayed Drago and began to fight and I was still confused as to why Drago had refused to use his powers. I remember screaming at the TV, “Drago, freakin’ use your fire chi already! Kick their asses man!” and then it hit me: I was confused because something big happened in Weight And See. I stopped the episode in all, went back to see the episode 10 and when I saw Drago’s chi get taken from him, everything made sense. I watched The Powers That Be Part I again and everything made better sense. The fight between boss and henchmen was epic. man, you don’t know how pissed i was when Drago lost. Like, why couldn’t Drago have taken the Ice Crew’s chi?…

In The Powers That Be Part II, it was really worrying seeing Section 13′s vehicles and weapons getting destroyed by the 8 Chi Powers. I swear I was so worried for the heroes, I thought someone was going to end up dead. And when Drago gave the Ice Crew more of his demon chi, I was like, “It’s over.” They destroyed Section 13 with those powers and had almost destroyed the J-Team. The big fight at Fenway Park was one of the best battles because it was almost like a big team effort. Anti-heroes, heroes and animals all come together to destroy the ultimate evil(s). it’s funny how the Ice Crew only went to get food to try and watch while Hak Foo actually made an effort to fight. Jade brought the talismans which evened the fight and Shendu fought Drago in an epic father vs. son battle. I was pretty sure Drago was going to win, until Jade had the idea to give Shendu his talismans and Tohru had the idea to remove both the dragons from the earth, since it was impossible to remove all 8 demon powers once joined together. I have to say, the fight and ending overall was wrapped up a little too quickly, but it was still pretty cool that everything seemed okay. The Enforcers and Hak Foo are probably good guys, the Ice Crew goes to jail, etc.

Ninja Twilight Most of the episode - Everything from seeing the Oni generals to Tohru becoming evil to seeing Tarakudo shirtless was awesome. I’ve said it a million times before and I’ll say it again. Tarakudo’s almost-win was as swift as can be, which would technically mean that he’s the smartest JCA villain. He could’ve gotten a 2-parter though. Just sayin’…

The Stronger Evil - Part 1EnforcersHak Foo vs. JackieSection 13 - Oh man. Even as I re-watch the episode. the fight from the bank to the beach was scary and awesome. Scary because of the talismans, Dark Hand and knowing Shendu is coming for Jackie. Seeing Finn complain, then later hit a brick wall and get knocked out by the helmet of a jet-pack was hilarious. Watching Hak Foo almost smash in Captain Black’s face was scary too. For me, the episode goes back and forth between funny and scary. The part that had worried me the most was seeing the whole thing between Jackie/Shendu/Valmont. The music, animation, everything comes into place here.

Black Magic | Light Black, Jackie vs. Dark Black - everyhing in this episode escalated once the light Captain Black took the scene. The whole episode was interesting really because I was wishing to see something where Black goes bad. Especially knowing how Black is more vulnerable to the forces of darkness than the Chan Clan, it makes the situation more tense. One good thing was that Uncle mentioned how Black was the one who took the longest to turn evil because he was so full of good. Never knew that Black was that persistent about turning against the forces of evil until then. I know he had proved that before by fighting evil, but it’s different seeing when Black is turned bad, his bad and good are fighting for who’s going to run Black as a whole. when his mask was off, I really wanted to see what Dark! Black was like. Plus, the fact that he owns Section 13 with his mask was pretty scary.
